Tafit Ceramic Bird Perch, Apple Core Shaped Parrot Nail Care

Add a colorful apple core perch to the cage while giving your bird a washable ceramic standing surface. The center uses a finely textured matte glaze, while the bright end sections provide a smooth glossy contrast.

The textured center may contribute to ordinary nail wear as the bird grips and moves, and birds may rub the beak against the ceramic during normal use. Because the texture is part of the ceramic glaze, the perch does not rely on a glued on sand coating.

The Tafit perch measures approximately 125.1 by 50.5 millimeters. Product images state that it is made from selected kaolin ceramic clay and fired at 1300 degrees Celsius. A hand tightened knurled nut and washers secure it through compatible cage bars.

Rinse the glazed surface as needed and provide other perch diameters and materials in the cage. Ceramic pinholes, uneven glaze, joining marks, slight color differences, and measurement variation can occur. This perch does not replace professional nail or beak care.
